Water Treatment Systems
Better Water's central water treatment systems for dialysis are engineered to provide the high-quality water that hemodialysis providers require. Each system is designed using our DMP's (Decision Making Process). This process ensures that you receive a system that will meet your facility's specific needs.
Our water treatment system has a 510k from the FDA, and the equipment includes enclosed 508A UL panels. All systems are manufactured here in the United States. Every system is thoroughly tested prior to shipping.

The 1232 RO is the perfect solution for facilities with 4-8 stations. The 1232 Acute Series is economical, simple to operate, and quiet. The versatility of the unit allows for either tank or direct feed. This RO unit is designed for the small to medium-sized acute care facilities.

Matrix RO Unit - Auto Clean/Auto Disinfect
At the Push of a Button
The Better Water, Inc. Matrix RO provides chemical disinfection at the push of a button. Parameter data is automatically stored, and track and trend data is readily available for viewing or printing.

MediPac RO System
The MediPac RO System is a completely self-contained RO system on wheels. This unit contains the standard pre-treatment, RO, and post-treatment all on a single skidded rack. The unit is pre-plumbed, pre-wired, and pre-assembled at the factory.

Post-Treatment System
Post-treatment filtration is the final stage of the water purification process. Better Water's post-treatment systems are available in either a mobile post-treatment rack (pictured) or a stationary wall-mounted rack. Our post-treatment systems provide additional filtration after the RO unit re-pressurizes the water for the loop and monitors the water going to the dialysis machine. Better Water carries a complete line of post-treatment equipment.

Bicarb System
Bicarbs are used in the mixing and delivery of sodium bicarb solution. Sodium bicarbonate is part of the final dialysate solution that is given to patients.
Better Water manufactures dual tank central delivery, single tank central delivery and mix only bicarbs. The units are designed for simple installation, ease of use, and patient safety.

Portable RO System
The Medi-Port PB ll, portable RO system, is a versatile, user-friendly portable RO that is amazingly quiet and feature-packed. In addition to our standard enclosed filtration, the PB ll has another layer of protection with a .05 final filter that eliminates most bacteria and endotoxins.

Deionization
Better Water's DI Division is dedicated to providing you with the service and support you need to operate smoothly, 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
Our FDA 510k, DI Resin Regeneration plant operates under a set of standard operating procedures and quality control specifications. We document each step of the process to ensure proper chemical dosage, contact times, and rinse procedures. All PEDI tanks are individually tested for quality, checked for adequate flow, then pressurized and checked for leakage. Test results are logged into our quality control system. When you use Better Water DI, you receive quality, service, and support.
